Theatre Art

Theatre Art is a very old form of performing art. It is performed in English as well as in many regional languages like hindi, english, marathi, gujarati, punjabi and many more. It is excellent form of art and it blooms out the actor within the artist.

Today evening i went for a theatre performance by my classmate. He was performing for his Theatre institution. The performance was at NGMA Churchgate. This is the first time in my life that i had been for a theatre performance. I was really amazed by the talent and dedication these actors have. There were 2 plays. The 1st play was about a school story and the 2nd play was about a ghost story. The actors were simply awesome. Maximum of the actors were young guys and girls, teenagers and some elders. They acted the plays extraordinarily and conveyed the message in the story very strongly. The plays had a lot of humour in them and was also serious at a lot of times. It is was clear blend of humour and story. The show was organised very well and was well conducted with a lot of discipline and entertainment.

It is very sad to realise that theatre art is dying day by day. According to me, the art really deserves to get a lot more popularity and encouragement for the efforts the artists take to make it such a great show.

FIFA World Cup 2010

The FIFA World Cup fever is back again with a bang this year - a tournament any football player would give his life for. Football is like a religion.

My brother is a live example of a die hard football fan. He was down with jaundice just last week and he still has to take rest at home. My brother watches all the 3 matches in a day. He is so crazy about football that he goes to sleep by 10.30 wakes up by 12am to watch the next match even though he is not well.

The 'Waka Waka' song sung by Shakira has been accepted as the anthem of FIFA world cup 2010. Adidas is the main event sponsorer for FIFA 2010. Vodafone is the broadcast sponsorer. The others sponsorers are Coca-Cola, Emirates Airline, Hyundai, Sony, Anheuser-Busch, Avaya, Continental, Deutsche Telekom, Electronic Arts, Emirates, Fujifilm, Gillette, Kia Motors, McDonald's, Philips, Toshiba, Yahoo, MTN.

The FIFA World Cup fever has given push to awesome football through the years and will always keep doing it.

Getting wet in the rain

Everyone will agree with me that getting wet in the rain is like the most pleasurable thing in the world. But i dont know y so most people refrain themselves from just going out there when it pouring and getting wet in the rain.

Today after very long i got wet in the rain. Me and my friends got wet in the rain. We were running on the road screaming loud out of happiness. We made paper boats and let them in the water. It felt like we had become kids again. We played music and started dancing in the rain and clicked a lot of pics.

Then all of us came back home changed our clothes and started chit-chatting. Is there anything more pleasurable than having a cup of hot tea during the rainy season? We made tea and maggi and feasted on it.

I am already down with cold. Though some of us might fall ill tonight, the memories of the fun we had today will remain with us forever. After few years it is not the cold or fever that we are gona remember but the screaming, dancing, shouting and all the kiddish that we did today are gona keep us happy all our life. So guys just get out of your house and get wet in the rain and bring the child in you outside.

Live- in relationships

Live - in relationships are considered wrong as most Indians even today. Leave alone people living in rural areas, even urban crowd does not accept it.

Most people feel that in a live-in relationship there is no commitment and the chances of the couple living together life long is less. Where as in a marriage you give complete commitment to each other. If is so then why do we have divorces?

I appreciate Americans for one thing. They dont interfere into each other's personal life. Everyone in life should be given privacy and every person needs it. I completely support the idea of a live-in relationship and i feel no one has the right to interfere in any couple's life if they want to have a live-in.

There can be complete commitment even in a live-in relationship and it can go on forever. Whether it is a live-in relationship or marriage it finally depends on the couple and what they feel. If they want to maintain the relation forever then nothing else should matter.

Live-in relationships are slowly taking their place in the urban Indian society but its not seen with good eyes by most people.

I think its high time that Indians start accepting live-in relationships and become more broad minded.

AXN-So you think you can dance

'So you think you can dance' is an American dance reality show which is telecast in AXN. It is my personal favourite dance reality show. No other show till date has been able to give out as much talent as this one. The dancers are simply awesome and extremely talented and the way they groom themselves to each and every form of dance is just mind blowing.

It is one show where it is extremely competitive and the dancers are trained to perform so many variety of dance forms. They perform everything from Salsa, Jive, Hip Hop, B-Boying, Western, Ballroom dance and so many of forms that you wouldnt have heard of also.

I was watching this show on AXN just a few days back and i found something amazing. There was one dance that one pair of contestants had to perform on and it was a Bollywood routine. The pair performed a routine on a Bollywood song and they really did a great justice to it. I found it really amazing that the show is welcoming all kinds of dances. I really appreciate 'So you think you can dance' for bringing up dance talent and respecting the cultural dance of all the places around the world and bringing them together on one stage. It is really a great thing to do. The world has come even more closer because of this show. Kudooooooooos to 'So You Think You Can Dance' and AXN!!!

Eunuchs in India

Eunuchs in India are generally made fun off and most people dont consider them as part of their society. Most people are unaware of the fact that they are genetically born as eunuchs and they live a much tuffer life than a common man does.

As most people, when i was small even i used to make fun of eunuchs and also used to fear them. Once i have even fought with a eunuch. It is after i grew up that i realised that i had mis-interpreted them. People in our Indian society are so orthodox and most of them show disrespect to eunuchs. Children are imbibed with negative things about eunuchs from their childhood.

There are a lot of fake eunuchs who actually are not born genetically as a eunuch but they transform themselves into one by dressing up like them.

People's attitude towards eunuchs in India is gradually changing. Many of them are provided education and jobs. 'Sach ka Saamna' - a hindi reality show had a eunuch as one of the interviewee. A tamil show is conducted by a eunuch. It is great to see that eunuchs are slowly gaining importance in our society and they are getting the respect they deserve.

NOKIA- highest selling handsets in India

NOKIA handsets are the highest selling in India today. Though there are many telecom companies like Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola, HTC, Apple, LG etc that have come up with handsets which give tuff competition to NOKIA, NOKIA handsets still remain the king.

The most important reason why NOKIA handsets sell more than any other handsets is because they have understood the mentality of Indian consumers. Their market research is very accurate and they make products according to the usage preference of people. Sony Ericsson handsets generally are better music phone than NOKIA handsets. Samsung handsets have better camera quality in comparison to NOKIA. i-touch phones are extremely stylish. The biggest advantage NOKIA has is that it makes the most durable handsets. Most Indian people prefer phones that can be used roughly. NOKIA handsets dont get a crack or it does not affected even if it falls down. They have very sturdy handsets and most Indians look for this as their make focus. Indian consumers are happy with a phone which will give decent features but it should last long even after harsh use. NOKIA makes sturdy handsets with decent features because of which it sells the most.

NOKIA has gained the trust of most Indian masses. It is my personal favorite brand of handsets and i own a NOKIA phone too. NOKIA is completely keeping up to its tagline 'CONNECTING PEOPLE' by really connecting everyone with each other.
